Worldwide Music Downloads
June 30, 2005
I love it when I see where people are downloading my music from. I had close to 300 this month and have been averaging over 200/month this year. I've tracked locations of some of the the downloading IP addresses and find Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Korea, Brazil, Canada and across the US. That's pretty cool. I'm no international star (heh), but just to know that somebody's I've never met is enjoying Ode to the Crimson King, Future Primitive Zarathustra, Abu Garum and Waveform on the other side of the planet. I just can't help digging that.
I'm going to start a new project soon. It's going to maintain some of the electronic angle to it, but be more rock'n'roll: Dr. Laniac's Bad Attitude. The early ideas are just forming. And yes, I'm gonna sing on this one. Neighbors be damned. I'll record vocals when I'm not out on calls on a weekday. I'll probably through a cover version of something in there, but haven't decided which one, yet.
