Subject: Re: Question on upcoming
book
Carol,
Pardon me, let's try this again. A reader asked a me question, confused
and looking for more information, pointing me an article that announced the
pending release of the Harring Report. Since I'm the one with a website from
which to publish my views and highlight important news, since I'm following
up on a story I've written about and done research on, I'm undertaking the
role of investigating this.
Nonetheless, you seem to have answered the question. By your reply, you
appear to indicate that there is in fact something to this report that
you're about to publish the Harring book. If the claims were false, you'd
likely be expressing shock and outrage that Holocaust
deniers
[Carol's reply] Lane, this is a heavy term,
a label, that is emotionally loaded. Investigations into certain
reports pertaining to the Holocaust have produced information that appears
to be valid, that goes against the currently accepted version of this tragic
event. It is a subject I care not to approach, since the repercussions
of the Holocaust on those who escaped are clear evidence that it did
occur.... as are repercussions from many similar "holocausts" that have
taken place since then, for which there is equally valid evidence. That
the "Holocaust" occurred or did not occur i is not the issue. What IS the
issue, is whether all or most of the historical data concerning this event
that is currently believed to be valid by most of the global
population, is correct and can be substantiated.
Unfortunately, this is one of the
problems that occurs when re-viewing the events of history. Who was
responsible for recording the material and how could they benefit by
possibly skewing some of the facts? People with agendas often create
disinformation or "doctor" existing informaton to suit their purposes. Check
"Ben Gurion's Scandals," a book we published written by Naeim Giladi,
and Iraqi Jewish journalist. The book was burned when Naeim self-published
it, and it was banned in Israel. Mainstream media in this country will not
touch it. Naeim is profoundly Jewish and was a Zionist until he discovered
the agenda behind plan to transplant the Iraqi Jews, happily settled in Iraq
at that time, to Israel. He felt betrayed.
Walter Storch is not anti-Jewish
or anti-Semitic. His agenda is to deliver truth, and to obtain that truth
from inside sources whenever he can. This is in the spirit of classic
journalism. As a journalist myself, this is in alignment with my own
mission. That he has information that others care not to accept or believe,
is an issue a truth-seeking journalists cannot be concerned with. Our
Dandelion authors will be the first to agree with that. The truth
hurts.... but it will also set one free.
Arianna Huffington's group wrote
us a congratulatory letter after we sent out our first press release about
the Harring Report, telling us they look forward to reviewing the book when
it appears.
had hijacked your good name.
I ask you, please have a look at the information provided below. I can
see from your list of non-fiction books that you are putting out dissident
authors including Wayne Madsen
[Carol's reply] Wayne is a magnificent human
being, one of the few who has put his life on the line for delivering the
truth.
, who I read fairly often. I'm a progressive blogger and online
activist, someone who follows the news closely and in great detail. You are being conned by an Internet conman.
[Carol's reply] The best way to determine if our information is
correct, i.e., if indeed we do have a much larger list of U.S. casualties
than are being reported by the DoD, is to take a chunk of our list--and
Walter has posted these on his website-- and contact each of the families of
the deceased who are on that list, whose names do not appear on the DoD list
that is being publicly posted. That seems fair and rational. Relatives of
the deceased would not lie to you about this information. They would have no
reason to do so.
Now there is a piece of research for you, if you
really believe Walter Storch is conning Dandelion and trying to con the
public. If you can prove Walter and Brian Harring are wrong, i.e, that
only about 1,800 U.S. Military have died and far less than 25,000 were sent
toGermany for medical treatment from war injuries, we will have something to
talk about.
As for the trashing and bashing that goes on on the
Internet, as I said before, people with agendas use disinformation
as a weapon to destroy those who contradict their belief systems,
political persuasions or personal, usually emotionally packed
issues.
I care to stay in the arena of valid
information supported by documentation, and to use this information as
a method for creating greater awareness, to give people the opportunity
to "wake up" when they are still unconcscious or plugged into a "fear,
threat and trembling" or complacent co-dependent lifestyle, hoping
they may start to make conscious choices. It may be trite to
repeat that the truth will set us free, but many people do not accept that
fact, nor do they want to deal with the fact that the truth can also be
very painful. Very painful. It can seem like betrayal. One of my therapist
colleagues calls it "the jilted lover complex."
Start your research as I've suggested, and send me
the results... dialogues with the parents and relatives of the deceased
whose names are not on the publicly posted DoD list.
Yours in truth, with best regards,
Carol
In addition to the link from my first email about Jim Lampley getting
suckered and retracting the story on the same day on Arriana
Huffington's blog, there are many more cases of people falling for this
story.
Syndicated cartoonist Ted Rall got burned on this very
story just last week. He issued a retraction after it was pointed out the
complete lack of credibility of TBRNews. He's bitter about being
suckered.
(and next five posts above that one)
Here's the closing quote from his most recent
post on the subject, in response to a sympathetic and supportive reader: "I
appreciate that. Still, piss fuck shit damn I hate TBRNews."

Dear Lane,
Thank you for contacting us.
It would be best if that reader emailed
Dandelion Books directly rather than going through another person, and
perhaps we can address their questions and issues concerning The Harring
Report.

Subject: Question on upcoming
book
I've
received a request by a reader to resolve a question about a book that
is supposedly an upcoming release of yours. The book is called "Prelude
to Disaster: The Harring Report - Complete Official DoD Iraq &
Afghanistan US Military Casualty List".
I refer you
to this Google search in general
and this
article in particular
This
information is distributed from a site called TBRNews.org. A little
research, by others as well as myself indicates that this group is a
right-wing neo-fascist holocaust denying group masquerading as a lefty
group. Are you in fact publishing their book? On the chance that you are
and they've kept you in the dark regarding their true nature, I refer
you to an article I wrote after seeing one of their lies being peddled,
accidentally, by someone who was unaware of their
background.
I'd very much like to hear back from
you on this.
Thanks,
Lane Schwark
